Who we are

InformEdsc.org is a resource developed by Public Education Partners Greenville County (PEP), an award-winning local education fund established in 1985 by business and civic leaders to connect the private sector and our public schools. PEP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan community organization that supports innovation in our classrooms and champions public education at the state and local level through evidence-based, data-driven programs that champion teachers, engage families, and advance collaboration.

Champion Teachers

Research has shown that nothing has a greater impact on student learning than the quality of the teacher in the classroom. PEP champions teachers by uplifting the profession, fostering leadership and civic engagement opportunities, and providing resources for classroom practices and professional development.

Equip Families

Parental involvement is invaluable for academic achievement for all students. PEP equips families by providing inclusive tools and trainings to help increase positive engagement with schools and support for students.

Advance Collaboration

Community collaboration fosters new ideas and continuous improvement in our public education system. PEP works collectively with partners to coordinate research, support innovation, pilot new initiatives, and build organizational sustainability.
