End-of-Course Examination Program (EOCEP)

1st Semester Block Classes (December – January)

The End of Course Examination Program (EOCEP) is a statewide assessment program of end-of-course tests in high school core courses (some of which can be taken in middle school). The EOCEP tests in four subject areas: Algebra 1 / Math for the Technologies 2; English 1; Biology 1 / Applied Biology 2; and US History and the Constitution. EOCEP test results account for 20% of a student’s final grade in that subject. The English 1 assessment is divided into two parts, writing and reading, with each test administered on a separate day.
